Donuts with Doulas is a community event where expecting couples can meet multiple local doulas in one place, speed-dating style. Instead of scheduling a bunch of separate consultations, you’ll have short, low-pressure conversations to learn what doulas do, ask real questions, and see who feels like the right fit for you!

There’s no pressure to hire anyone.
It’s simply about connection, education, and making support more accessible, all while collaborating as a local birth community.

Postpartum shifts look really different based on family needs

Some cool things recent clients have enjoyed?
- going for a walk outside
- intimate one on one with an older child
- napping
- getting laundry put away
- quality time with partner
- bottles that wash themselves (it’s me hehe)

Every postpartum looks different and every family needs different things. I love getting creative to help clients figure out what they may need that day!

Pitocin vs Oxytocin!

One of my greatest pet peeves is when Pitocin is called Oxytocin (or artificial oxytocin)! 😅

Knowing these are two different things, and therefore affect the body in different ways, is so important to being able to have true informed consent during your birth.

Pitocin has a purpose, but you deserve to understand the risks of its use. Only you can decide if the use is worth the risks (bc it can be!).

This was going to be one post - but I have too much to say!

So I am now doing a new series 😂

I LOVE answering client questions. So many people have never been around infants. I love that my answer helps them feel more empowered and secure around their baby. ☺️
