Texas families saw real wins this session because leaders like Rep. Stan Gerdes stepped up. Today we celebrated his work with the Lone Star Health Champion Award, honoring his perfect MTHA score and his role in banning candy and soda from SNAP, food transparency, and commonsense health protections statewide. Texas didn’t follow the trend. Texas set it.

Honored to present the Lone Star Health Champion Award to Sen. for his perfect MTHA voting record and bold leadership during the last legislative session.
