✨ Meet the Heart of CCDS – Laurie Torgerson ✨
If you’ve attended a Central Coast Dental Society event, received a CCDS email, or needed a referral, you’ve likely met the incredible Laurie Torgerson.
This year marks an extraordinary milestone—45 years of service as Executive Director of the Central Coast Dental Society.
For nearly five decades, Laurie has supported dentists, connected patients with care, organized events, and ensured CCDS members have the help they need. Her focus has always been simple: helping people.
When asked what she enjoys most about her work, Laurie shared that the greatest reward is knowing she can help someone. Whether assisting a member or a patient in need, she approaches every situation with compassion and dedication.
Outside of CCDS, Laurie enjoys time with her family, serving on the board of Tolosa Children’s Dental Center, staying active, reading, and caring for her beloved “grandpets.”
For 45 years, Laurie has been the backbone of CCDS and a champion for our members and community.
