Yes, I am a balanced trainer, yes I use tools that some may not be okay with. However, i am not one to jump to harsh things or use these tools in a negative way. Here is my boxer, who turned a year in April, just now learning ecollar training. I am very much of the opinion that we need to let our young dogs grow up and everything comes in time. I dont line to rush things, do things they aren't ready for, and jump to throwing these tools on every single dog I train. You dont need one! Not every dog needs an ecollar or a prong collar, but I can absolutely show you how to use these tools if youd like to. I am also not one to depend on tools entirely, they should be an asset to your training, not the only training. Its insanely important to use these tools in a positive way, theyre not some torture device and your dog should not be afraid of their equipment!all of my dogs lose their minds with excitement when I grab their ecollars, they know it means we're going somewhere and doing something fun!
