Links for Life believes everyone fighting breast cancer is a Survivor. We exist to improve breast health outcomes in
Kern County; educate and empower our neighbors to take ownership of their breast health; and provide care and
support to people affected by breast cancer. Our Vision
Links for Life will be recognized as Kern County’s
leader in breast health, so that every person in our
community has access to the education, resources,
and support needed for their journey.

Our office will be closed Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

We hope you have a chance to slow down, spend time with the people you love, and enjoy the long weekend.

Labor Day is also a good reminder to appreciate the people who work hard every day to make a difference in our community. We are grateful for all of you who show up, lend a hand, support a neighbor, and help make our community stronger.

What an incredible day at the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s 29th Annual Business Conference & Expo!

We loved being surrounded by so many inspiring, engaged, and forward-thinking people in our community. From insightful panel discussions to conversations about work-life balance and exploring AI as your new collaborator, our team we walked away with plenty of ideas, inspiration, and motivation!

The energy in the room was contagious, and the networking was just as valuable as the sessions. It was wonderful connecting with so many interesting, smart, and passionate professionals who are making a difference in our community and teaching them about how we support breast cancer survivors in our community.

A huge thank you to the KC-Hispanic Chamber Commerce and CEO Jay Tamsi for having Links for Life and for creating such an amazing opportunity to learn, connect, and grow together. We’re already looking forward to the next year!

Last week, the Links for Life Board of Directors came together for our annual Board Training!

We welcomed new members, celebrated all that we accomplished together over the past year, and rolled out exciting plans for the year ahead.

We are truly blessed at Links for Life to have such incredible people serving on our Board; individuals with giving hearts, a passion for our mission, and BIG plans for the future! 💕 Their leadership, dedication, and support make it possible for us to continue making a difference for breast cancer survivors in our community.
