12 Days of Cultivating Love
Day 1 : Gratitude
Write your own 5 things that make you feel Grateful.
1. Enjoying time with Family; being able to play with Chloé and Avani. Co-creating with Marvelous
2. Health- All of us at home are over our illnesses and feel happy we can run and laugh with ease.
3. Technology- Boiling water with electricity, social media, endless information at our fingertips.
4. Energy- my endless energy and connection. Gratitude for connection to my beautiful people.
5. Beauty- the beauty that surrounds me. The beauty of endless nature that refutes definition but to feel, experience.
How can i feel Gratitude for this? What's the lesson? When we ask this question to any experience we transcend attachment of emotion towards any challenging experience. --
What i mean is that we judge our experiences and this judgement we walk away with thinking that we have to haul it around. We change, things change, our feelings change towards the same experience that we felt so strongly at one point only to realize the great many holes this point of view carries. Holding the same point of view despite time is like saying, "I'm 5'8" so when i walk up a ladder i will keep my head only at the level of my height!" Umm why??
--Our emotions are a tool for the present moment so they don't belong in the past with our memories. "Experience without Emotion is Wisdom." Life is happening and "The whole course of things goes to teach us Faith." Faith in the fact that I am where I am for a Reason. And, "this" has happened for my Greater Good. "We need only obey." Is the following line to that quote of life teaching us Faith. And, how do we have Faith? We Trust. We Let Go.
