This past Saturday, Synchrony Medical Group was proud to serve as a Court Sponsor for the Thrive & Purpose Foundation’s inaugural Paddles for Purpose Pickleball Classic!

The Thrive & Purpose Foundation is making a meaningful impact in our local community by helping uninsured and underinsured adults age 50 and older in Kern County stay connected to essential healthcare resources, including medical care, prescriptions, transportation, and support.

We’re grateful to stand alongside an organization working to strengthen access to care, dignity, and quality of life for our senior community.

The Synchrony Medical Group team had a wonderful time attending the Health Fair hosted by Central California Rehabilitation Hospital! We loved having the opportunity to connect with patients, community members, and fellow healthcare professionals while sharing resources and talking about the importance of staying proactive about your health.

And we have to give a special shoutout to our raffle basket…it was a hit! 🎁🙌

Even as summer starts winding down, those triple-digit temperatures can stick around. Synchrony Medical Group wants to remind you to take a few extra steps to protect yourself and your family during these hot Central Valley days.

💧 Stay hydrated : Drink water throughout the day, even before you feel thirsty.
🕶️ Limit peak-hour exposure : Try to avoid prolonged outdoor activity during the hottest parts of the day.
👕 Dress for the weather : Choose lightweight, loose-fitting clothing when heading outside.
🏠 Stay cool : Take breaks indoors or in air-conditioned spaces whenever possible.
⚠️ Know the signs : Dizziness, headache, nausea, weakness, or confusion can be signs of heat-related illness. Don’t ignore them.
