You've been through so much in your life. You are often seen as the survivor but you feel like the outcast. The way you cope, the way you feel inside, it doesn't feel healthy any longer. You try to control what life circumstances you have been through with food, substances or other behaviors, but you have been left with only more anxiety and depression. Your past still follows you around in your r

elationships and you can't seem to shake the feeling that it won't ever get better. We help individuals on the Philadelphia Main Line and virtually of all races, genders and sexualities come to understand their past, learn healthier ways of coping and no longer be defined by their depression and anxiety.

Some people will hurt you... and then expect you to comfort them for the pain their actions created.

But healing begins the moment you stop abandoning yourself to keep others comfortable.

You are not “too sensitive” for feeling exhausted. You were never meant to carry the emotional weight of people who refuse to take accountability.

Protecting your peace is not selfish. Choosing yourself is not cruelty. And letting someone face the consequences of their own actions is not your responsibility. 🤍

Being organized is a genuine strength. But there’s a version of it that wasn’t chosen. It was built by someone for whom having control over their environment was the most reliable way of managing what was happening inside it. The capability is real. So is the exhaustion of needing everything to stay in its place.

If any of that resonates and you’d like some support, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Most of us were never taught how to actually feel our feelings - in fact, they were usually actively discouraged.

We were told to be “strong.”
To keep it together.
“Don’t cry! Come on!”
To push through.

But what we resist… only grows stronger.

Anxiety. Overwhelm. Panic attacks. Burnout. Emotional shutdown.

These are unfelt emotions stuck in your nervous system, that have built up over years (often decades), waiting to be released.

And here’s the truth: you can learn how to move through them.
This process of sitting with your feelings FULLY? It ccan change your life.... once you know how to do it.

Recalling your most authentic self can provide a sense of feeling grounded and comfortable in your own skin, both of which are important factors for self-soothing.

This exercise in particular is a somatic technique used to regulate the body’s responses by recalling self-soothing behaviors successfully used in the past. Because this method helps calm the nervous system, it can be used to help alleviate feelings of anxiety.

A lot of us have heard we "need to work on boundaries.” But what does that even mean?

Something we see in so many clients is that most of us were never taught how to set boundaries in ways that feel relationally healthy.⁣

Not a wall, not a punishment... Just clear communication about what’s true for us.⁣

Healthy boundaries aren’t about controlling other people, they’re about taking responsibility for our own needs, limits, and values — and expressing those with honesty and care.⁣

It’s okay if this feels overwhelming or a bit scary. It takes practice to show up this clearly.⁣

If your identity feels fragmented or unclear right now, that’s more common than you think.

Many people notice different “versions” of themselves pulling in opposite directions—one that wants growth, one that wants safety, one that’s exhausted from holding it all together.

In Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, this is understood as having parts—protective patterns shaped by life experience that influence how we see ourselves, our relationships, and our choices. When those parts are listened to rather than judged or overridden, people often experience a natural re-orientation toward clarity, self-trust, and a more grounded sense of identity.

We offer IFS-informed therapy as a way to help you understand your inner system, reduce internal conflict, and reconnect with who you are beneath survival strategies. If you’re curious whether this approach could support you, visit the link in our bio and choose the “contact us” option to start a conversation.

1️⃣ Myth: It's a "party drug" or "horse tranquilizer."
✔️ Truth: Ketamine has been used safely in medicine for decades as an FDA-approved anesthetic. In mental health treatment, it’s given in controlled, therapeutic doses under trained supervision. It is nothing like recreational use or high-dose veterinary applications.

2️⃣ Myth: It's addictive.
✔️ Truth: When administered in a safe setting at therapeutic doses, ketamine has a very different risk profile than recreational use. With us, folkx are carefully screened, monitored, and supported throughout treatment.

3️⃣ Myth: It's a one-time fix.
✔️ Truth: While some people feel relief quickly, ketamine therapy works best as a structured treatment series with guidance and integration over time. It’s a process, not a single session.

4️⃣ Myth: It's illegal.
✔️ Truth: Ketamine is an FDA-approved medication. Its use for mental health is legal when provided by licensed professionals in a safe, therapuetic environment.

5️⃣ Myth: It's unsafe.
✔️ Truth: Ketamine therapy is considered safe when administered by trained professionals who monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.

✨ Bottom line: Ketamine therapy looks nothing like the myths. In a proper setting, it can be safe, structured, and a highly supervised treatment option for people who haven’t found relief elsewhere.

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Every flag tells a story.

The many colors represented in the LGBTQIA+ community reflect diverse identities, experiences, journeys, and ways of being. While no two stories are the same, they all deserve to be met with dignity, affirmation, and belonging.

As a queer-run and queer-affirming therapy practice, we know that healing happens when people don't have to explain, defend, or hide who they are. We are committed to creating a space where LGBTQIA+ individuals can show up authentically, explore their experiences with curiosity and compassion, and build lives rooted in self-acceptance and connection.

This Pride Month, we celebrate the richness of our community, honor those who paved the way, and reaffirm our commitment to supporting every person in living more fully as themselves. 🌈
