Your ordinary is someone else’s dream.

04/20/2026

So many people are feeling worried about “toxins” in food, laundry detergent, candles, and everyday products.
And while it’s understandable to want to reduce risk and take care of your health, for most people these exposures are likely to have a very small impact, if any.
What actually makes the biggest difference for long-term health is still the basics:
• eating enough throughout the day
• getting enough fiber, fruits, and vegetables
• building a consistent, enjoyable movement routine
• having a more balanced relationship with food
These habits aren’t trendy, but they’re powerful.
When health content feels overwhelming, it can help to come back to what we know moves the needle most.
Focus there first!! Let everything else be secondary 🤍

Welcome back to Nutrition While Nap Trapped!
I’m still stuck on the couch holding my sleeping baby, so while I’m here I’m sharing another quick nutrition thought I wish more people understood about food.
Instead of always asking “what should I cut out?” or “what do I need to take away to make this healthier?” I like to focus on addition rather than restriction.
Nutrition doesn’t always have to be about subtracting foods. Sometimes it’s about asking:
What can I add to make this meal more balanced or nourishing?
That mindset shift can make healthy eating feel a lot more sustainable and a lot less restrictive.
If there are other nutrition topics you want me to cover while I’m nap trapped, leave them in the comments.
And if you’re a mom who wants help creating a healthier relationship with food for your family, your daughters, or yourself (because it often starts with you), I’ll be opening very limited coaching spots soon. You can DM me to join the waitlist. I offer insurance and self-pay options.

As a Registered Dietitian and a mom who’s had her own ups and downs with food, I think a lot about the kind of relationship with food I want my daughter to grow up seeing.
It’s not about eating perfectly.
It’s about showing her that food can be joyful, flexible, and nourishing, that cookies and veggies both have a place.
If this resonates with you, you’re not alone 💕
I have a few spots open before the end of the year for anyone ready to heal their relationship with food, for yourself and for the little eyes watching you.
✨ Comment “ME” or send me a DM to connect.

Shana Tova!
As we welcome the new year, I want to wish you and your family a year filled with sweetness, health, and joy. 🍎🍯
The holidays give us a chance to pause and reflect- not just on the past year, but on what we want moving forward. They remind us of the beauty of connection, the strength of tradition, and the importance of making space for gratitude.
My hope for you this year is that you find balance in all areas of life, time for yourself, time for family, and time for the things that light you up. That you feel peace in your body and mind, and that you experience growth, joy, and fulfillment in the ways that matter most to you.
May this new year bring clarity, kindness, and endless blessings. 💛

For years, I let the scale decide how “good” or “bad” my day was. One glance at a number could undo every ounce of confidence I had.
What I’ve learned, both personally and as a registered dietitian, is that your health is so much bigger than a single metric. Energy, mood, strength, peace of mind…those are the things that tell the real story.
When I work with women and girls, we spend less time chasing numbers and more time building patterns that leave you nourished, confident, and free to live life fully.
If you’re ready to stop letting the scale define you and start feeling at home in your body, I’d love to help.
Book a free discovery call today (link in bio) and let’s build habits that support you - because you are so much more than a number on the scale.

So many people think “eating well” means overhauling your entire life: strict rules, complicated plans, or cutting out the foods you love. I don’t blame you, I used to think the same thing! But it’s not true and it doesn’t have to be this way.
I focus on simple, realistic habits that make a big difference: adding more balance to your plate, tuning into hunger and fullness, and creating routines that actually fit your busy life. Step by step, those little changes build confidence and lasting results without the overwhelm.
If you’re tired of confusion and ready for clarity, I’d love to help you feel at ease around food.

5 years.
A Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics.
An MBA while pregnant and then with a newborn.
A year-long, 1,200+ hour internship.
8 weeks full time studying: 20+ review sessions, tutoring calls, 900+ flashcards, and 2,500+ practice questions.
Late nights. Early mornings. Determination. Lots of days where I questioned if I should continue.
Today, I can finally say…
✨ I’m officially a Registered Dietitian! ✨
I’ll be starting as a Clinical Dietitian in a long-term care facility, and I can’t wait to begin offering services soon. Stay tuned. This is just the beginning.

We’ve been fed so many lies about body image and food by diet culture—it’s time to stop believing the myths and start embracing the truth. 🙅‍♀️✨
Here are 3 Myths you NEED to Stop Believing:
1️⃣ “You’ll be happier when you lose weight.”
2️⃣ “Thin bodies are healthier bodies.”
3️⃣ “It’s normal to hate your body.”
The truth is, happiness doesn’t come from the number on the scale, health isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we don’t have to live with self-criticism. Let’s change the narrative and raise kids who grow up confident in their bodies, no matter their size. 💖
