Hey y’all! We’ve been gone, but we’re back for the summer to share how we continue to practice healthy living. Let’s catch up with a throwback to an early spring afternoon hike. Great Falls is one of our favorite spots in the DMV for a good hike and lots of beautiful water views.

Pro Tip: To dodge the park entrance fee, visit the Billy Goat Trail, located just across the river from Great Falls National Park.

Ching Ching Cha, a Chinese tea house in Georgetown, Washington, DC, has become one of our new favorite local spots. This tiny family owned restaurant sells all types of traditional Chinese teas and is one of DC’s best kept secrets. Walking into the tea shop is like being transported to another world…from the busy streets of Georgetown, to this cozy, quiet little place. It’s nothing fancy, there are no reservations and only several tables in the entire restaurant, but we love spending hours here.

We’ve tried nearly every appetizer, meal, and dessert on the menu. And the star of the show is the tea. The different teas have their own unique way of serving and drinking that the waiter demonstrates when it’s served.

After 4 hours at the tea house, Ching Ching, the owner (and the restaurant is named after her!) came out and said “you girls can eat!” There’s really nothing like spending hours talking with friends over food and a warm cup of tea.

Hey Community! After a hiatus from social media, we’re back for 2022. We’re looking forward to taking y’all with us on our little adventures again.

It’s no longer Fall, but we’ll start by sharing a few photos from the archives, including this road trip to Shenandoah back in November. It was one of the most exciting days in a long time. Good company, good vibes, and amazing views.

Here’s to an equally exciting and beautiful 2022. 💙💙
