ViSION Leadership Spotlight: Patrick Nnoromele
For more than three years, Patrick Nnoromele has played an important role in the growth and success of the ViSION program! After serving as Co-Medical Director last year, Patrick now serves as Director Emeritus, mentoring the next generation of student leaders. His contributions have included developing program protocols, interpreting OCT imaging data, and helping strengthen ViSION's community-based vision screening efforts.
Beyond ViSION, Patrick continues to pursue his passion for ophthalmology and expanding access to innovative eye care. He was recently selected for the Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures Graduate Fellowship for Entrepreneurship in Medicine (GEM), where he will further his work developing scalable, low-cost gene therapies for rare retinal diseases.
