Cheyenne went into kidney failure at just 4 months old. After being hospitalized for almost a year, at 15 months old, Cheyenne received a lifesaving kidney transplant from her mother, Paulette. After her transplant, Cheyenne began learning to walk and continued to grow stronger with her new kidney.

This year, Cheyenne will celebrate her 29th β€œkidney-versary.” β€œI am deeply grateful for the second chance at life I’ve been given and my family is also thankful that I am a survivor and continue to thrive. As I live each day as a transplant recipient, I am constantly supported by their unwavering love and encouragement.” πŸ’™πŸ’š Story from Donate Life America
