At sunrise, we return to the waters.

Join us for an intimate morning of ancestral remembrance, cleansing, reflection, release, and restoration as we honor the sacred waters within us and the wisdom of those who came before us.

🕊️ This year, we are doing something especially sacred. A dear friend of mine and fellow Daughter of the Waters gained her wings this month. We will honor Dr. Tyne Orí Dr. Ori with a ceremonial Dove Release, sending our love, prayers, and gratitude with her as she returns to the ancestors.

As the creator of Sacred Waters, Oriyomi brings together ancestral wisdom, spiritual practice, healing, and community to create a space where we can reconnect with the waters within and honor the wisdom carried through our lineages.

For Sacred Waters 2026, we welcome IFAModupe into sacred space to hold the tender places where grief, motherhood, spirit, and the waters within us meet.

This is an invitation to tend to what has been carried silently….

The grief connected to mothers.
The memories held in the womb.
The stories carried through generations.
The parts of ourselves that need cleansing, witnessing, and gentleness.

Through ceremony and intentional reflection, IFAModupe will create space to honor maternal grief without rushing it, cleanse the Ori, and reconnect with the wisdom held within the body and sacred waters.

At the Fourth Annual Sacred Waters, Chevon will guide us into the depths through sacred sound, prayer, womb remembrance, and devotion. Her offerings will include:
