Back when I was struggling with anxiety, I remember feeling so much shame about it.

I remember thinking, “If I could just pray better, maybe I wouldn’t be feeling this way
”

But then God showed me that His Word says

pray FIRST
not pray ONLY.

The Bible is full of wisdom and guidance for how we can practically care for ourselves - mentally, physically, emotionally, and relationally.

God literally gave us a self-care manual. ✹

I’ve been in therapy on and off for the last 6 years and let me be clear:

Therapy is a super important part of the healing journey.

Most of my therapists were amazing, and I appreciate the ways they’ve each helped me.

But a couple years ago, I hit a breaking point.

Despite all that work I had done, I was still stuck in cycles of anxiety, overwhelm, and exhaustion.

I understood WHY I was struggling, but I didn’t know HOW to move forward. So my progress in therapy came to a stand still.

And that’s where many of my clients find themselves.

So if that’s how you’re feeling, I want you to know that it’s not your fault.

And while therapy may have really helped you at one time, it may be time to pivot.

Coaching is less about processing and analyzing and more about strategy, progress, and transformation.
