WeOur September birthday board features an apple-tastic orchard celebrating all our residents born this month. 🍏🎂

Our second board is a heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton, featuring beautiful artwork colored by our residents. Inspired by Dolly’s music, colorful style and memorable words, the display celebrates the joy she brought to so many. 💕🎶

📣 We are pleased to announce that Life Care Center of Banner Elk has earned the 2026 Bronze National Quality Award from American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living!

🏆 The National Quality Award Program is a rigorous 3-level process in which organizations are reviewed and evaluated by trained experts. Bronze is the beginning level.

💬 “I am so proud of our team and all they accomplish each day to make a difference in the lives of our residents and in our community,” said Lynn Kilpatrick, our Executive Director. “This award is a wonderful recognition of their hard work and dedication to quality care.”

Way to go, Barbara! 👏 She came to us for rehabilitation after a hip replacement unable to walk and needing extensive assistance for self-care and mobility. Now, she is back up on her feet and able to take care of herself independently again! 👍
