When you’re in labor, it can be hard to process a lot of information at once. That’s why practicing how to ask questions before birth can be helpful. 💛
If a decision comes up, you or your support person can ask:
💬 What are the benefits?
💬 What are the possible risks?
💬 Are there other options?
💬 Is this urgent, or do we have time to think?
💬 What happens if we wait?
Being informed doesn’t mean you have to control every part of birth. It means being part of the conversation about your care.
Your support person can also help remember your questions when you’re focused on labor.
