CORRECTION: We were informed that the information we received from law enforcement was incorrect on Mr. Woodward being found safe. The family of Doyle Woodward tells us that tragically he was found deceased.
Our prayers are with his family at this difficult time.

Issued Golden Alert Laurel County

London, Ky. (August 11, 2022) – Kentucky State Police Post 11 is actively investigating a missing persons investigation in Laurel County. The male has been missing since August 10, 2022.

Doyle Woodward, 72 of London, KY. Mr. Woodward was last seen at a residence on Terrell’s Creek Road in London on Tuesday around 7: 00 PM.

Mr. Woodward is described as a white male 5’6’’ roughly 175 pounds, with gray hair and brown eyes. Unknown clothing description. Mr. Woodward might be wearing a pair of rubber boots.

Anyone with any information is urged to contact Kentucky State Police Post 11, London at 606-878-6622 or 1-800-222-5555.

Trooper Jason Smith is continuing the investigation.
