One of the most unexpected treasures of Grand Teton National Park… the Sound Room at the Laurence S. Rockefeller Preserve. 🌿✨
Tucked into the preserve, this peaceful space invites you to slow down, listen, and experience nature in a completely different way. Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the landscape, the room becomes a place of reflection—where the sounds of wind, water, birds, and the natural world take center stage.
After all the spectacular mountain views and adventure, there was something especially beautiful about simply being still and listening. 🏔️💚
A reminder that sometimes the most profound experiences in nature aren't what we see, but what we hear—and what happens within us when we finally become quiet enough to listen.

When we were moving to Seattle when I transferred to Bastyr University in 1998, we were so moved by the commitment of Korczak to the sculpture and Native American culture and vision for the future.

Henry Standing Bear wrote to Korczak after he won first prize for this portrait of Paderewski at the 1939 World’s Fair to ask him to carve a memorial “so the white man will know the red man has great heroes also.”

Crazy Horse Memorial Foundation is built on Chief Henry Standing Bear and Korczak and Ruth Ziolkowski’s ideals of creating a memorial to honor the living heritage of the North American Indians.

Crazy Horse stands on the highest mountain east of the Rockies and West of the Alps.

Our last dinner before we hit the road again. ❤️
Last night, I cooked for Mom and my sister—wild Sockeye salmon, roasted delicata squash, and red beets. A simple, colorful, nourishing meal made with love.
There’s something especially meaningful about sharing one more meal around the table before packing up and heading out. So grateful for this time together, the laughter, the conversation, and the comfort of family.
The road calls again. 🚗💙 and we are off.
