Four months of hard work, progress, and determination led to a very special clap out for Dr. John B.! 👏💙
Dr. John B. transferred to Barnegat Rehab & Nursing Center from another facility and initially came to us for long-term care. At the time, he was primarily bed bound, required assistance with walking, transfers, and daily activities, and relied heavily on a wheelchair for mobility.
Through his determination and commitment to therapy, he made incredible progress and was able to return home! By the time he left Barnegat, he was walking independently with a cane, completing daily activities on his own, and working on higher-level skills like cooking, stairs, curbs, and uneven surfaces.
His advice to others coming to Barnegat for rehabilitation? “Make sure you do the therapy.” 💪
