After our gig, a gentleman came up to me twice in the evening and told me he wished we were still playing/I was still singing (no offense to the other bands, you guys were awesome) and proceeded to go on about how powerful of a song Messy is. With which I completely agree. I think we all feel this song on some level at some point in our lives. And that's why music is so important because we can touch one another's souls with it and come together with common understanding and a connection that is truly human. 💞
And a shout out to the rest of Ground Level for being such wonderful musicians to play with every week. It is such a special feeling to share our music with the crowd and absorb their energy. 🌟

Some songs really get the crowd up and moving! This is our third gig in a row where fans danced to Cranberries' Dreams (and No diggity -- see our previous reel!) 🕺💃
AND at Jimmy D's not only did we have an amazing crowd dancing to our music (including the other bands) but the cherry on top was that I got serenaded with this sing along! 👄🎶🎵

So this happened today. My daughter, my oldest, the one who made me a mom, moved to Purdue🚂💪 It has been a busy weekend filled with ALL of the emotions.
I am so incredibly proud of her and I love her more than words can express ❤️❤️❤️. I know that she is going to have the best time, learn so much and make lifelong friendships and meaningful experiences but it is still bittersweet. I don't know where the time went but here I am, with a kid in college. Just praying that I have given her everything she needs to feel loved, supported and be successful. 🙏 ❤️

Best feeling at a gig when you hold the long note for the first time and everybody looks up and pays attention! 🎤 ❤️ Even better when you're playing to a terrific crowd like we had at Durty Nelly's the other day!
