💜 SEPTEMBER IS SU***DE PREVENTION MONTH 💙

This September, we’re honored to partner with OBSIDIAN INK Ink in Batavia for a meaningful fundraiser supporting Su***de Prevention Services of America. 🖤

Throughout the entire month of September, 30% of flash tattoo proceeds will be donated to Su***de Prevention Services, helping support su***de prevention, crisis intervention, and mental health resources in our community.

Every tattoo can make a difference. Every conversation can save a life. And every person matters. 💜

ANOTHER AMAZING ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are thrilled to welcome Erin to the Obsidian Ink family! 🖤✨

Erin has had a passion for art for as long as she can remember. Throughout high school, she took several art classes before continuing her education at community college. She is now attending Northern Illinois University as an Illustration major, pursuing her BFA with a focus in illustration!

Erin has been tattooing for 2 years while continuing to pursue her degree, and we are so excited to have her bring her creativity and unique style to Obsidian Ink. 🖤

Erin loves creating bold, whimsical tattoos featuring animals, bugs, girls, plants, and pretty much anything that sparks her imagination! 🌿✨ She is also open to both black & grey and color work!

When Erin isn’t tattooing, you can almost always find her doing some form of art! Whether it’s crafting, printmaking, crocheting, painting, or working with polymer clay, she’s always creating something.

Outside of art, Erin loves watching movies, playing video games, swimming, thrifting, and going to see local Chicago bands!

📅 Erin’s first day at Obsidian Ink is September 25th!

And the best part… ERIN IS NOW BOOKING!

Erin is $150 an hour with a minimum of $100!

Stay tuned because Erin will be releasing a special flash sale to celebrate joining the Obsidian Ink team!

🖤 WELCOME TO THE OBSIDIAN INK FAMILY, ALVIN! 🖤

We are beyond excited to officially welcome Alvin to the Obsidian Ink family! 🖤 He will be joining us at the end of September, and we cannot wait for you all to meet him!

Alvin’s passion for art runs deep! It’s a true family tradition. He has been drawing and painting his entire life and has spent the last 10 years tattooing, constantly pushing himself to grow, improve, and learn.

Alvin specializes in:
• Dark & disturbing designs
• Black & grey realism
• Cover-ups
• Freehand work

🌿 Nature is one of Alvin’s biggest inspirations, and he loves bringing his creativity directly to the skin. His goal is simple: to give every client a piece of art they will truly cherish.

Lori planned a pool party for us, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to spend time outside of the shop with the people who make Obsidian Ink what it is.

I’m truly so thankful for every single person who not only works at Obsidian, but goes above and beyond every day to help make this place something special. You all bring your own talent, personality, heart, and energy to this shop, and I genuinely love and care for every one of you. 🖤

Thank you for showing up to our “mandatory” pool party and for being part of this crazy little Obsidian family.

And a HUGE thank you to Lori and her parents for hosting all of us crazy kids! 🖤
