Tucker was in that kitchen every single episode. High protein meals, balanced plates, feeding an entire hockey house full of athletes.

You really think those bodies were an accident? šŸ˜‚

Tucker is the unsung MVP of Briar University and as a nutrition coach I have never felt more SEEN by a fictional character.

Follow me and I’ll be your Tucker, minus the hockey house, plus the hormone support. šŸ’šŸ„—

Drop PROTEIN in my DMs and I’ll show you how to actually build a plate that works for your body.

Tell me: Have you watched Off Campus yet?! šŸ‘€

Y’all, it is officially too hot in Louisiana to be standing over a hot stove for lunch. 🄵 I don’t make the rules, the humidity does.

I used to be a sad desk lunch girl too. Microwave meal, handful of crackers, prayed it’d hold me over till dinner. Then I built myself a system that takes all the thinking out of it.

Three cold bowls. Same formula every single time. Protein, fiber, healthy fat, and some color thrown in so it actually looks like a real meal. Prep your protein on Sunday, keep your sauce in a mason jar in the fridge, and assembly takes three minutes flat. No stove, no sweat, no excuses, mama.

This is what sustainable eating actually looks like when life is busy and the last place you want to be in July is your kitchen.

Save this for your next meal prep day, and DM me KREWE if you want a nutrition plan built around your real Southern life, not some Pinterest version of it. 🌿

You don’t have a discipline problem. You have an identity problem.

So how do you actually change it?

1. Pick one small action and repeat it daily, not because it’s a magic fix, but because it becomes proof of who you are.
2. Talk to yourself like the woman you’re becoming, not the one who keeps starting over.
3. Let the proof stack. Identity doesn’t shift overnight, it shifts rep by rep.

Example: it’s not really about the food at all. It’s the night your kid finally goes to bed, the house is quiet, and the old you would’ve gone straight for whatever’s in the pantry to decompress. The new you pauses, not because you’re white-knuckling it, but because numbing out with food isn’t who you are anymore.

That moment, repeated, is the actual identity shift. Not the meal plan.

Here’s the part nobody tells you: this isn’t a one-time decision. It’s repetitive work, and doing it alone is exactly why most people fall back to the old identity by week two.

That’s where having an expert in your corner and real accountability changes everything. It’s what we build inside ANC.

Comment HABITS and I’ll send you how we build it. 🌿

You don’t need more willpower. You need a new identity. 🌿

If you’ve meal prepped on Sunday with all the motivation in the world and been ā€œoff trackā€ by Thursday… that’s not a discipline problem. That’s your brain doing exactly what it’s wired to do: act in line with who it believes you are.

You can’t out-willpower an identity that still says ā€œI’m someone who falls off.ā€ You have to become someone new, someone who takes care of her body without a countdown clock or a finish line.

That’s the whole foundation of how we coach inside ANC. Not another meal plan to fall off of. A new identity to build from.

Message me COACHING and let’s talk about what that actually looks like for your life. šŸ’š

Increased your protein but still feeling bloated after meals?

It might not be the protein, it could be a sign your digestive system needs some support first.

You started tracking. You’re hitting your grams. But your hair is still falling out, you’re still tired, and the scale isn’t moving.

Here’s what nobody talks about: eating protein and actually absorbing protein are two completely different things.

If your stomach acid is low, your body can’t break protein down into the amino acids it needs. And low stomach acid is incredibly common — especially in women who are stressed, have a history of restrictive eating, or may be dealing with hormonal shifts that affect digestion.

Signs you may not be absorbing properly:

Feeling full or bloated after a high protein meal
Burping after you eat
Undigested food in your stool
Meat that just feels heavy in your stomach
The type of protein matters too. Animal proteins are the most bioavailable. If you’re relying mostly on plant sources, you may need significantly more than you think.

If any of this sounds familiar, DM me or comment PROTEIN and I’ll send you a free protein absorption assessment to help you figure out where the breakdown might be happening.

Most women think protein deficiency looks like someone who never lifts. But your body gives you signs way before that.

Hair falling out in the shower. Nails peeling before you even get to the gym. Feeling anxious for no reason. Getting sick every other month and taking forever to bounce back. Holding water no matter what you do.

These are protein signals. And most women are missing them because they’re blaming everything else first.

Swipe through and see if any of these sound familiar.

If you checked off more than one, your intake is probably not where it needs to be. DM me PROTEIN and I’ll send you our free Protein Guide so you know exactly where to start.

Health experts disagree on a lot of things. But these are 5 things almost all of them agree on. (And it’s probably not what you think.)

Carnivore vs. vegan.

Fasting vs. eating every three hours.

Low-fat vs. low-carb.

The health world debates a lot.

But if you zoom out, there are five things that hormone experts, dietitians, physicians, functional medicine practitioners, gut health specialists, and fitness coaches almost all agree on:

1. Eat mostly whole foods.
Because your body thrives on real nutrients, not ultra-processed food-like products.

2. Keep your blood sugar balanced.
Because blood sugar swings can drive cravings, energy crashes, fat storage, gut disruption and hormone issues.

3. Manage your stress.
Because chronic stress affects your hormones, digestion, sleep, recovery, and overall health.

4. Move your body appropriately.
Because movement improves insulin sensitivity, heart health, muscle mass, mood, and longevity.

5. Prioritize sleep.
Because when sleep suffers, hunger, cravings, blood sugar, recovery, and hormone function often suffer too.

Regardless of their approach, most health experts agree these five things are the foundation.

Before you get lost in the noise of who’s right, start with what nearly everyone agrees on.

The basics aren’t flashy.

They’re effective.

What do you think? Is there anything you’d add to this list?šŸ‘‡

We see this too often with clients. And most of them had no idea their labs were telling this story.

Low-grade inflammation lives in the window between ā€œtotally fineā€ and ā€œdiagnosableā€ and most women are sitting right there without knowing it.

Here’s what to look for on your next labs šŸ‘‡
šŸ”“ Hs-CRP above 1.0 mg/L (functional optimal is under 1.0 — conventional labs won’t flag until 10)
šŸ”“ Monocytes pushing above 7% (sign of persistent inflammation or gut dysbiosis)
šŸ”“ Eosinophils above 3% (gut inflammation, food sensitivities, mold, parasites)
šŸ”“ N/L ratio above 1.5 (chronic stress + systemic inflammation)
šŸ”“ Lymphocytes dropping below 24% (cortisol is draining your immune system)
šŸ”“ Platelets falling below 155 x103/µL (your body is consuming them faster than it should)

All ā€œin range.ā€ None of it fine.

Chronic low-grade inflammation directly disrupts your estrogen, slows your thyroid, blocks fat loss, and depletes your energy at the cellular level. And your doctor isn’t connecting those dots because it doesn’t have a diagnosis code yet.

We are going over exactly how to calm inflammation so you can actually see the scale move, this Wednesday, May 27th at 12PM CST.
