✨ PRACTITIONER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Jennifer Weber, founder of Studio She Collective , Somatic Practitioner, and Founding Member of the Lakes Area Wellness Collective! 🌿

Located in Alexandria, Minnesota, Studio She Collective is a women-centered wellness space built on a beautiful belief: care doesn’t have to happen in isolation.

Jen has created a space where women can find connection, support, and a variety of wellness experiences all under one roof. By bringing together practitioners and instructors from different disciplines, Studio She honors the many ways women care for themselves through life’s changing seasons.

✨ From massage and somatic bodywork to pelvic health physical therapy, mental health support, yoga, Pilates, dance, meditation, Reiki, and workshops, Studio She offers opportunities for women to explore what wellness looks and feels like for them.

What makes this space especially meaningful is its commitment to whole-person care, recognizing that every woman’s needs, experiences, and path to well-being are unique.

🤎 We’re grateful to have Jen and Studio She Collective as part of our growing wellness community! Their collaborative approach reflects so much of what the Lakes Area Wellness Collective is about: bringing people, practitioners, and resources together so that wellness feels more connected and accessible.

✨ PRACTITIONER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Elyse Wachendorf, founder of The Reiki Wanderer, Reiki Master, Certified Breathwork Coach, and Founding Member of the Lakes Area Wellness Collective! 🌿

Elyse believes that creating more peace in our lives doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it begins with something as simple as slowing down, taking a breath, and reconnecting with ourselves.

Deeply inspired by nature, Elyse brings a gentle, intuitive, and heart-centered approach to her work. Through Reiki, she creates welcoming spaces where individuals can pause, release expectations, and simply be. 💜

As a certified breathwork coach, Elyse also recognizes the powerful connection between breath, presence, and well-being. While Reiki is at the heart of her current offerings, she looks forward to weaving breathwork and other mindful practices into her work as The Reiki Wanderer continues to grow.

✨ Her intention is beautifully simple: to bring a little more peace, presence, and joy into the world, one person, one breath, and one moment at a time.

We’re grateful to have Elyse as part of our growing Collective and excited to support her as she shares her gifts with our community! 🤎

🍂 Our very first Wellness Wednesday. 🤍

There was something really special about watching this day unfold.

People arrived on the island and, little by little, everything seemed to slow down.

We gathered in circle with warm cups of tea in our hands. We moved our bodies beside the lake. We breathed together. We listened and learned. Music floated through the Wellness Village while people wandered between practitioners, shared meals, sat beneath the trees, had conversations with someone new, and discovered experiences they may never have tried before.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, community happened.

Not because everyone followed the same schedule or experienced the day in the same way—but because they didn’t have to.

Some people chose yoga. Some chose breathwork. Some sat in the sunshine a little longer. Some received healing, explored the marketplace, listened to a speaker, set an intention, shared a conversation, or simply gave themselves permission to rest.

That was always the heart behind Wellness Wednesday.

There wasn’t one right way to experience wellness.
There was simply an invitation to discover what you needed that day.

Your day. Your way. 🤍

Watching our very first Wellness Wednesday sell out was exciting—but watching people actually connect, soften, explore, laugh, learn and receive together was what made the day feel so meaningful.

To every person who stepped onto the island and became part of it—and to every practitioner, facilitator, speaker, musician, vendor and volunteer who poured a piece of themselves into creating it—thank you.

This wasn’t something any one person created.

We created it together.

And we’re just getting started. ✨

Wellness Wednesday returns to Xanadu Island in 2027:

🌿 June 9, 2027
🍂 September 1, 2027

Two dates. Two unique experiences. One connected community.

Save the dates. More to come. 🤍

✨ PRACTITIONER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Terri Chidester, Certified Flower Essence Practitioner, herbalist, wellness coach, massage practitioner, and Founding Member of the Lakes Area Wellness Collective. 🌿

Terri’s work grew from her own search for greater steadiness, clarity, and emotional well-being — and a deepening understanding of how nature can support us when we slow down enough to listen.

Through Pine Ridge Homestead, Terri creates individualized flower essence blends designed to support emotional balance, resilience, and a clearer sense of self. Her background also includes two years of core training in Shamanic Practices, which helped shape her grounded, intuitive approach to working with people and the natural world.

At the heart of Terri’s work is something beautifully simple: listening closely, meeting people exactly where they are, and offering a steady, supportive space for meaningful change to unfold. 🌸

We’re grateful to have Terri as part of our growing community of local wellness practitioners!

✨ PRACTITIONER SPOTLIGHT ✨

Meet Jennie Bucholz, owner of HOL Nutrition House of Lipp in Perham and one of the Founding Members of the Lakes Area Wellness Collective! 💚

For Jennie, wellness has always been about more than shakes, teas, and nutrition—it’s about the whole person: mind, body, community, and purpose.

That heart for community extends far beyond HOL. Jennie is also the founder of The Relentless Kindness Project, a nonprofit created in honor of her daughter, Shalie Lipp. What began through unimaginable loss has grown into a mission to create something meaningful, encourage others, and give back.

Her next big dream is creating a community memorial sanctuary garden on her family’s 100-year-old farm—a peaceful place with gardens, walking areas, and spaces to simply sit, breathe, reflect, and reconnect. 🌿

We’re grateful to have Jennie as part of the Lakes Area Wellness Collective and for the heart, resilience, and community connection she brings with her. 🤍
