We would like to ask everyone to keep the family of Mr. Randy in your prayers during this difficult time.

Our time caring for him was brief, but in those days we learned several things about the man he was. First, he loved his family immensely. Second, even while battling illness, he remained gentle, caring, and kind. Third, it was clear how deeply he was loved, as a steady stream of family and friends came to visit and spend precious time by his side.

Our hearts were heavy knowing we could not do more, but we are grateful that he received the care he needed while surrounded by those who cherished him most. It was an honor to care for him and to witness the love that filled his room each day.

Please join us in praying for comfort, peace, and strength for all who knew and loved him.

While we have been busy caring for the best residents, we let an important date slip by—June 1st.

June 1st marked four years since Jana re-opened Lakeview Retirement Center. During these past four years, we have walked alongside families during some of life's most difficult moments. We are humbled and honored each time a family entrusts us with the care of their loved one.

Over the years, we have met so many wonderful people who have become an extension of our Lakeview family. We are especially grateful to still be caring for a precious resident who moved in on our opening day from several states away. We are also thankful for Shelley, who has faithfully served alongside us since day one.

As we reflect on these four years, our hearts are filled with gratitude. We pray that God will continue to allow us to care for those in need for many years to come.

Most importantly, none of this would be possible without our incredible caregivers. Their compassion, patience, kindness, and servant hearts make a difference every single day. They are the hands and feet of Christ to those we serve, and we are deeply thankful for each one of them.

"Serve one another humbly in love." — Galatians 5:13

May God continue to bless Lakeview, our residents, their families, and the caregivers who faithfully answer the call to care for others. ❤️

Our time caring for Ms. Frances was brief, as her family lovingly managed her care at home for as long as they safely could. While we never truly know the timeline of a disease or how quickly it may progress, we do know that the care we give matters—every day and in every way.
It was an honor to care for a woman who spent so much of her own life caring for others. As a nurse, Ms. Frances dedicated herself to serving those in need, offering compassion, comfort, and healing throughout her years of service.
Though her journey on this earth has ended, her legacy of kindness and care lives on in the countless lives she touched.
We are grateful to have been a small part of her story.
"Well done, good and faithful servant." — Matthew 25:23

You made ordinary days feel softer. Heavy hearts felt lighter near you.

To our nurses—you are called to something so special. The care, patience, and love you pour into others is a reflection of Christ in action.

We are so thankful for each of you at Lakeview Retirement Center. You are truly a blessing to our residents and their families.

We also would like to thank each nurse from hospice and home health agencies that help enhance the care that our residents receive everyday. Too many to list but know you are appreciated!
