Direct testiment from Daniel's Mother:
Daniel is a teenager with profound autism, epilepsy, and very limited functional communication. Because he can't always tell us when something hurts or what he needs, understanding his physical and emotional needs can be incredibly difficult.
When Daniel first started seeing Dr. Chelsie, it took time for him to trust her enough to allow her to adjust him. She never forced him or expected him to conform to what was easiest for the adults. She met him where he wasâeven adjusting him in the waiting room when he wasn't ready to enter the treatment room.
What has meant the most to us is the way Dr. Chelsie treats Daniel. She talks directly to him like the teenager he is, assumes he understands, and treats him with patience and respect. Over time, Daniel learned to trust her.
We've seen improvements in his gait, jaw tension, regulation, and some of the behaviors we believe may have been related to physical discomfort. But perhaps the biggest testament is this: Daniel now loves going to the chiropractor. With his limited speech, he clearly says the word "chiropractor" and asks to go.
For a child who can't always tell us what he needs, having someone who takes the time to listen, build trust, and see the whole person means everything.
We are so grateful for Dr. Chelsie and the care she has given Daniel. â¤ď¸
