This morning, I had the privilege of meeting an inspiring couple, both in their 80's, who as I sat with them, held hands like newlyweds, radiating love and devotion. When I asked the secret to their 60-year marriage, they smiled, looked into each other's eyes, and said, 'A lot of hand holding!' So blessed to provide Caregivers to this couple so they can remain in their home. ♥️

Today I had the incredible privilege of sitting with a couple in their 80s, and I left with tears in my eyes.

The wife, who is courageously living with dementia, looked at her husband and said, “Thank you for loving me all these years. I know I was a handful.”

Without missing a beat, he smiled and gently replied, “You were always a precious gift.”

In a world that moves so fast, I was reminded that true love isn’t found in grand gestures. It’s found in faithfulness. In showing up. In remembering the heart, even when the mind struggles to.

Moments like these are why I love what I do. They remind me that caring for our elderly is more than a job. It’s a calling. Today, God gently reminded me that I am exactly where He has called me to be in this season of my life, and for that, I am deeply grateful. ❤️

Some people dream of a sports car. Our sweet patient dreamed of this. ❤️😂

He insisted his family buy this beauty so he could drive his caregiver around the neighborhood. He had the route planned, the confidence of a NASCAR driver, and absolutely no interest in hearing the fine print.

Now… who’s going to tell him he’s actually riding sh***un? 🤣

Truth is, moments like these are why we love what we do. Laughter, imagination, and a little joy can brighten even the hardest days. Sometimes caring for someone means taking the ride they imagined, even if they’re not the one behind the wheel.

We can’t wait for his first neighborhood “cruise.” ❤️🚲
