Imagine spending years preparing for your career.

You attend school.
You complete over 1,000 hours of education.
You pass a rigorous state board exam.
You maintain your license.
You complete continuing education every three years.
You carry malpractice and liability insurance.
You follow state laws and professional standards.

Now imagine someone with none of those qualifications simply decides to offer the same services.

No license.
No insurance.
No accountability.

Yet they advertise themselves as “bodyworkers,” “foot reflexologists,” or other titles that sound professional to the public.

In New York, providing massage therapy without a license isn’t just unfair to licensed professionals—it’s illegal.

The real question is this:

If unlicensed individuals could legally do your job without the education, testing, insurance, or oversight you are required to have, how would you feel?

When choosing a massage therapist, ask questions. Verify credentials. Protect yourself.

Your health deserves a licensed professional.

I am truly fortunate to have a daily sense of purpose in my work. The community's overwhelming support and acceptance have been remarkable. Our rapid growth is a testament to the benefits of therapeutic massage, and I am seeking additional staff to meet the demand, which highlights its effectiveness in pain management. We only have Licensed Massage Therapist here. Some claim to be " body workers, Give Therapuetic treatments. It is Ok to ask for their License Number and check it to make sure they are Licensed By New York State https://eservices.nysed.gov/professions/verification-search
