Happy Labor Day Weekend, Friends.
It's that time of the year to cry, scream, and feel sad that summer is coming to an end. But don't feel too bad, freezing cold weather and knee deep snow storms will be here soon and maybe even some freezing rain too 😒
But we hope you enjoy the weekend and wanted to let you know we will be open Monday until at least 1pm and not because someone has no life. Honestly, that's not the reason. It's not.
But here's some good news; Batman day is only 2 weeks away. There will be a sale on all Batman Hardcovers & Trades, there will be some free comics ( don't be a gavone) an appearance by the Dark Mike and more surprises. Maybe Someone will make some Bat shaped cookies...(probably not)

ACTION COMICS #1100 drops tomorrow! A true milestone in comic book history. Eighty‑eight years after Superman first appeared in 1938, thanks to Joe Schuster & Jerry Siegel, we are celebrating this landmark issue right here in good ol' Bayville, USA — 88 years of hope, heroism, and doing what's right especially when times get tough and we all know how challenging that can be.

Superman has been inspiring generation after generation to stand a little taller, help a little more, and to not only have hope but to share that hope with others.

Somewhere in Bayville, there has to be someone who remembers grabbing Action Comics #1 off the rack back in 1938. If you’re out there, we salute you, your wisdom, and maybe your secret to longevity.
Tomorrow we celebrate not just a comic book, but the idea that doing good is worth it. Come share the moment with us.

Happy 4th, Friends

I hope you didn't miss the 3rd Annual Bayville 4th of July Parade this morning.
I'm proud to say the amount of parade participants has increased threefold this year compared to our first parade. Also for the first time we had spectator seating!
Finally change had to come and I've decided to officially retiring those old patriotic outfits and wear something new that matches our new superhero theme in the store.
As always we appreciate you all very much and wish you a great wonderfully HOT celebration.

At first glance, Bayville Pharmacy & Comics looks much like any of the old independent drugstores that have served Long Island communities for decades. But tucked among the shelves is a growing collection of comic books and graphic novels that owner Michael Hancock says has supported the business while bringing new customers through the door.

Hancock, who purchased the pharmacy six years ago, said the idea grew out of both necessity and a lifelong love of comics. Since insurance companies take the majority of the money from prescriptions, according to Hancock, pharmacies rely on their other items to make a profit.
