Today was Day 2 of our Kora around Mount Kailash.
Today we reached 18,471 feet (5,630 meters) and walked 12 miles. The altitude pushed our bodies to their limits. It was an immensely challenging day - moving exceptionally slow, pacing each step with the breath, and taking a few oxygen breaks along the way.
When we reached Dolma Pass, the highest point of the kora, we felt a spectrum of emotions - physical exhaustion, the intensity of the altitude, the blessings of this journey, the capabilities of the body, the palpable frequency of this mountain and powerful vortex, and the awe of being surrounded by so many people who came here with such devotion and reverence for this sacred mountain.
Our bodies are sore, and after arriving at our tea house late this evening, we prepare for the final day tomorrow. 💕
