Hey friends 💛
I know Bear Lake Botanicals has been pretty quiet the last few months, and I wanted to finally share a little life update.
Truthfully, I hit a point of complete burnout after last summer. Between events, traveling, coordinating, creating, working, and constantly being “on,” I realized I needed to slow down and focus on my health and stress levels, and just getting myself back to a healthier place mentally and physically. I took what I thought would be a short winter break to recharge… but life had other plans.
At the same time, we’ve started a huge new chapter behind the scenes. Bear Lake Botanicals is in the process of moving home base locations, which means my entire apothecary has slowly been getting packed up piece by piece. Because of that, I won’t be doing craft shows this summer or taking on any vendor coordinator positions for events this year including the annual Winter Solstice event at Northern Natural in December. Right now my focus is fully on getting our current home ready to sell, while also building a new home that we can grow from long term.
This also means Bear Lake Botanicals will eventually be rooted in a new town-Kaleva, just a town over from Bear Lake. And with that change will likely come a future business name change and fresh branding somewhere down the road once the new home, gardens, and apothecary space are fully established.
As bittersweet and scary as change can be, it also feels really right. I think sometimes growth asks us to step back, reset, and rebuild slower and more intentionally. Bear Lake Botanicals isn’t disappearing, just being transplanted somewhere new. 🌱 😉
Thank you to everyone who has supported me through every season of this journey. I truly appreciate the patience, kindness, and continued love more than you know. I’m excited to see what grows next when the time is right 🤎
