A little Saturday cardio session 😊

The upright bike is my favorite form of cardio. It’s low impact & joint-friendly, which is perfect for recovery & injury prevention! Believe it or not, this is a great exercise to fire up your lower body & core because you have to maintain your posture in the upright position (which is where the core engagement comes in). My favorite part about this is that I can watch my favorite show and that makes it go by faster.

If you’re looking for another way to spice up your cardio days or wanting something that’s non-weight bearing, try the upright bike on your next cardio day!

Today I didn’t have a special motivating quote/caption, so I thought I’d share my recent affirmations that I’ve been doing every morning before I start my day.

Because we have sooo much access to information and content, it’s so easy for me to forget who I am and why God placed me here on earth simply because I’m consuming so much of what other people are doing.

These affirmations have been a huge part of staying mentally healthy. Whenever I’m having imposter syndrome, self doubt, or anxious about something, I recite these affirmations and I feel 1000% better.

I know that everyday won’t be easy and won’t feel good and that’s okay!! But it is your responsibility to do something about it and not allowing yourself to wallow in those feelings and emotions. So the next time you’re having an off day or want something to start your day off right, try these affirmations 🤍
