🎉 Day 30 of 30 Days of Hospice Education 🎉

Today marks the final day of our hospice education campaign—but the conversation doesn’t end here!

Over the past 30 days, we’ve shared information to help families better understand hospice care, recognize when additional support may be needed, and feel more confident making important healthcare decisions.

Hospice is not about giving up. It’s about choosing comfort, dignity, support, and meaningful moments when they matter most. 💚🌹

Thank you to everyone who followed along, shared our posts, and helped us spread awareness. Ability Hospice is always here to answer your questions, provide a free consultation, or support someone you love.

⚠️ GENERATOR SAFETY REMINDER ⚠️

If you are using a generator after the storm, please protect yourself and your loved ones:

✅ Operate it outdoors—never inside a home, garage, or covered space.
✅ Keep it at least 20 feet from windows, doors, and vents.
✅ Make sure exhaust points away from your home.
✅ Keep the generator dry and never operate it with wet hands.
✅ Allow it to cool completely before adding fuel.
✅ Use a battery-operated carbon monoxide detector inside your home.

Carbon monoxide cannot be seen or smelled. If anyone develops a headache, dizziness, weakness, nausea, confusion, or chest pain, move outside into fresh air and call 911 immediately.

Please stay safe and check on elderly family members and neighbors. 💚

We hope everyone stayed safe throughout the tropical storm. Our thoughts are with those who experienced damage, power outages, or other challenges. We have checked on all of our patients and staff. Everyone is safe and accounted for!

Please continue to use caution, check on elderly neighbors and loved ones, and avoid flooded areas. Ability Hospice is keeping our community, patients, families, and healthcare partners in our thoughts. 💚🌧️

🐾 Friday Mascot Update: Meet Prince! 🐾

Our sweet Ability Hospice mascot, Prince, is officially 5 weeks old—and getting cuter by the day! 💚

In just 5 more weeks, Prince will come home and begin preparing for puppy training. Once he is ready, we can’t wait for him to spread puppy love, bring smiles and offer a little extra comfort throughout our community.

Stay tuned each Friday as we follow Prince’s journey from tiny pup to community companion! 🐶🌿
