Tattoos were once used as signatures in ancient China.

Way before IDs or paper trails, some soldiers in ancient China would tattoo their names, allegiance, or oaths onto their skin — marking their loyalty permanently. These tattoos served as living contracts, proof of identity, and even protection against betrayal.

Some criminals were also marked with ink as a form of punishment (called ci pei), but warriors flipped that meaning — owning their marks with pride, turning ink into honor instead of shame.

It’s wild to think how something once used to control or punish has evolved into a powerful expression of identity, story, and freedom today.

From survival to self-expression, ink has always had a voice. And we’re still speaking that language — louder and bolder than ever.

This one simply says: Let Them.

Let them judge.
Let them misunderstand you.
Let them walk away.
Let them talk.
Let them underestimate your worth.
Let them go.

You don’t owe an explanation for protecting your peace.
You don’t have to shrink for anyone to stay.
You don’t have to prove your value to be valued.

This piece isn’t just ink. It’s a reminder.

Could you last over 61 hours with a tattoo machine in hand? 😳

In August 2022, Italian artist Giovanni Vassallo set the official Guinness World Record for the longest tattoo session — going 61 hours and 37 minutes straight.
That’s two and a half days of non-stop ink, dedication, and serious endurance.

Since then, there’s even been a 91-hour claim — but it hasn’t been verified (yet).
Whether it’s for the art, the adrenaline, or the record books — this just shows the passion that lives in tattoo culture.

This piece came to life last night — a powerful mashup of childhood comfort and classic devotion. Belle and Beast above, embracing a love that saw through fear… and below? Tigger, Eeyore, and Pooh — sitting in quiet friendship, watching it all unfold.

Still in the early stages, but already full of emotion and meaning.
