Today was an INCREDIBLE day!

I don’t think people fully realize what is going on in our community.

These students are PASSIONATE about natural health. One of the things I love most is that they’re learning this now. They don’t have years of frustration and failed attempts to unlearn first. They can look at the facts, hear the evidence and experiences, ask questions and it just clicks.

They aren’t simply memorizing a list of herbs and what they’re “good for.” They’re learning HOW herbs work, the different actions they have in the body, how to recognize what the body needs, and how to choose the right herb and preparation for the job.

Today was all about skin repair. They studied 9 different herbs (that grow locally) and by the time they left, they had a great grasp on each one. These students weren’t just sitting there because parents signed them up either. They got involved and asked questions, took notes, and soaked in as much knowledge as possible.

They all formulated their own salve and took it home to brew. Prior to the next class, they will complete it and bring it back to discuss it.

Our community is waking up to the incredible benefits of the plants God has placed all around us, and we are SO grateful to have a front row seat as the next generation learns how to recognize and use them!

For those of you asking, this class is actually over capacity, but we are considering adding a second one if we have enough wanting to participate. Just send us a message! We will also have an adult class the end of September and will be posting that soon.
