Happy Sunday! Please read the following important updates.
Starting tomorrow, April 15th, I will no longer be posting content to social media other than weekly schedules and important updates such as this one. :)
This means I may not bring in as many new students, for which reason I'll be looking for a part time job to supplement my yoga income. Wish me luck!
I will also not be messaging with every student every week. I love catching up and keeping up with all of you, but if I am to find time to first search for and then do an additional part time job, I need to make space in my schedule. I look forward to catching up with you before and after class!
As such, I will publish a sign up sheet every month that students can access to sign themselves up. Due to the recent significant increase in no shows and last minute cancellations, I will be asking students seeking a drop-in to pay at the time of sign up, as you would to sign up for a class at a studio. Likewise, classes will be deducted from class passes at the time of registration. As always, I will offer exceptions for unforseeable emergencies (the car won't start, first day of an illness, death in the family, etc) upon request. In cases not meeting these criteria, a cancellation or no show within 24 hours will not be refumded.
Each class needs two students signed up at least 48 hours prior to the class in order to be confirmed. Sign up is only complete with payment. This will help me to better plan my days. Of course, once two students have reserved their spots, last minute attendance is always welcome! Just make sure to still follow the protocol above, even same day.
To facilitate the above policy changes, I will once again accept venmo, though it remains my least preferred payment option. As such, and to cover associated fees, those paying with venmo will pay $15.75 instead of $15 for a drop in, $68.25 instead of $65 for a five class pass.
Thank you all for reading this announcement, and for your understanding of these changes. Whether you've taken a class or simply read the content posted on this page, you know I continuously advocate for self care. These changes will allow me to better take care of myself, which will only make me a better teacher, as well as mother, daughter and friend. So thank you!
Namasté,
Mind Body Melanie
