Not too long ago, I sat across from one of my patients after a year and a half of healing together.

We had just pulled her labs again.
Lyme, Bartonella, Babesia. Gone.

My heart breathed a deep breath. And in that moment, I could not help but revel in the miracle of what the body is capable of when we finally let her lead.

I told her the truth: it is like it never happened.

What changed her biology was not the medicine alone. It was the willingness to look at the story underneath. The one running beneath the symptoms. The one shaping how her nervous system had been holding itself. The one she had been living without ever fully choosing.

Chronic illness is not just a physiological event. It is a chapter in a much longer story the body has been carrying. And when we address only the biology and never the story, the body has nowhere to put the shift.

This is the work I have been doing for twenty years. Yes, we treat the tick-borne illness. Yes, we treat the autoimmunity, the exhaustion, the inflammation. But we also ask what your body has been protecting you from. What pattern your nervous system has been living in. What the story underneath the diagnosis has been trying to tell you.

Because a diagnosis was never meant to be a life sentence. And the body is far more responsive than most women have been led to believe.

This is the work of the Awakening Container. A six-month sacred journey with me and a small circle of women, for the ones ready to stop living inside a diagnosis and start listening to what the body has been trying to say all along.

Come home, sister. I am here to walk with you.

It is said that one can never cross through the same river twice.

The river is always flowing, always changing. And so are we. Nothing stays the same, and nothing ever will.

I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I have been riding since I was a little girl. And now my daughter Mia is finding her own love for it, which means I am riding again too.

The same animals. The same language between rider and horse.

But a completely new experience, because I am not the girl I was. I am meeting her again through new eyes. Through my daughter’s eyes. Through the eyes of the woman I have become.

This is the gift of healing.

We do not become someone new. We come home to the parts of ourselves that went to sleep. The ones silenced by trauma, by performance, by the long ache of holding it all together. And when we finally turn toward them, they meet us where we are now. The same self, but a completely new way of being with her.

Your body knows this. Even when your mind has not yet caught up.
The symptoms. The fatigue. The collapse that keeps finding you no matter how many protocols you try. Your body is not betraying you. She is letting you know that the old way of being can no longer hold the woman you are becoming.

This is the call.

The Awakening Container is a six-month, 1:1 and group journey for ten women who hear it. Women who have done all the right things and still feel their body asking for more.

Women who are ready to come home to themselves.

If something in you is saying yes, let this be your sign.

There comes a moment in every woman’s life when the body begins to speak.

At first it is small. A little abdominal pain. Some fatigue. Brain fog. The kind of thing you can manage around, push through, take an herb for. But if we do not listen, the body does not go quiet. It speaks louder. And louder. Until eventually, we have no choice but to wake up.

What happens when you have done all the right things? When you look healthy to the outside world, and yet you still collapse every three weeks, unable to get off the couch, drenched in shame? What happens when the protocols stop working, but the body keeps asking?

There is freedom in health. There is freedom in healing. But it requires waking up to the parts of us that went to sleep, the parts silenced by trauma, by performance, by the long ache of holding it all together.

This is an opportunity unlike anything I have ever offered my patients. Unlike anything I have ever done before.

It is an invitation to step fully into your heroine’s journey. To delve deep, so the symptoms on the outside can finally be met from the inside. It is a metaphysical journey that few are brave enough to take, and the freedom and healing on the other side is incomparable.

I have seen it. I have lived it. And I know now, that being witnessed in community, is what expands the work. The body heals when it is finally seen, finally believed, finally held.

This is the Awakening Container.
Six months. Ten women. A few spots already taken.

If something in you is saying yes, let this be your sign.

The response to our free Tick-Borne Illness Recovery Program has been so beautiful. Thank you for sharing it, for asking questions, and for trusting us with your health. It means everything.

So many good questions came in yesterday that I wanted to take a moment to answer a few of them right here.

Can a tick feed more than once?
Yes. Depending on the type and life stage, ticks can feed multiple times throughout their lives. I like to think of them as nature’s dirty needle. They live in the dirt, attach to reptiles, rodents, mammals, and then attach to you, passing on whatever they have already picked up along the way. That process of attachment and reattachment is really where the trouble lies.

Will I know if I was bitten?
Not necessarily. Most tick bites go completely unnoticed. The nymph tick, which is tiny, is actually the most common culprit. Only about one third of people ever develop the bull’s eye rash, and while that rash is a clear diagnostic gift when it appears, the absence of it means nothing.

Should I be concerned about my pets?
Yes. Dogs in particular are very sensitive to tick-borne disease and can pick up Lyme, anaplasmosis, babesiosis, and more. Watch for changes in how they move, any neurologic symptoms, or just a general sense that something is off. They cannot tell us. We have to pay attention.

And the most important thing I want to leave you with:
Be a self advocate.

If something does not feel right, trust that. No one knows your body the way you do. You should not have to fight to be believed, and in this practice, you never will.

If you have more questions, please reach out. Call the office, send a message through the patient portal, or drop your question in the comments below. And if you haven’t grabbed the free guide yet, it is waiting for you at the link in bio.

Sending you all so much love. đź’›

If you have been anywhere near the news lately, you already know. Tick season is here, and this one is shaping up to be significant.

For the past several weeks, our office has been receiving calls from patients who are scared, frustrated, and honestly, not getting the answers they deserve.

Fears around Alpha-gal syndrome. Tick testing results delayed because the labs are simply overwhelmed. And patients who called their doctor after a bite and were asked, how long was the tick embedded?

As one of my mentors used to say, that is the equivalent of asking a stabbing victim how long the knife was in. It does not matter. And the fact that we are still asking that question says a lot about where conventional medicine is with tick-borne illness right now.

Treating tick-borne illness is one of my true callings. I have been doing it for well over a decade, and the complexity of this illness, and the resilience of the women who navigate it, never stops moving me.

I also know that more and more women are looking to take real control of their own sovereign health, and they deserve the tools and knowledge to do that with confidence.

So I put together a free Tick-Borne Illness Recovery Program for you. It covers everything from the most common questions to the more complex ones, including nutrition, targeted herbs, what to do after a bite, and how to navigate testing. It includes protocols I have used in practice for many years.

I do want to be honest with you, because I always will be: there is a limit to what any guide can do. In more complex cases, the patients I see do best with a combination of herbal and pharmaceutical support, truly tailored to them. That is still what I believe produces the deepest healing. But not everyone is there yet, and some of you simply want a trusted place to start, something grounded to hold onto when the headlines feel like too much. That is what this is.

The guide is free. It is yours. And our office is always here if you need more.
DM me or grab it at the link in bio.

If you’re local to our Bedford office, I want to personally invite you to something I genuinely support.

Cassie, our Family Nurse Practitioner, is hosting a Galentine’s Night at Sole Vitae in Bedford, NH on February 12th, and it’s exactly the kind of space I wish more women had access to.

We know women heal in community. Science has shown this again and again. We learn better, regulate better, and feel more supported when we are seen and heard. Cassie is bringing that understanding into action.

Her focus for this evening is hormones – the one thing that can shape so much of our lives as women. For many, hormones feel like they make or break us, and yet most of us were never taught how to understand them. They’re nuanced. They shift. They require both science and discernment.

I often think of hormones as an art form.
One moment they’re supporting us beautifully.
The next, they’re creating symptoms we don’t yet have language for.

Some women struggle with low libido.
Others with PCOS.
Others simply feel “off” for years without clear answers.
Others want to delay or support their journey through perimenopause and menopause.

This evening is an invitation to learn from Cassie, take sovereign action for your hormone health, and spend time in a community of women who also want to feel their best – informed, supported, and connected.

If this resonates, I truly encourage you to attend.

Recently, I’ve felt called to create a new pathway toward healing. One shaped by what I have witnessed again and again in clinical practice.

A recurring pattern I can no longer unsee.

So many people come in having done everything right.
They’ve seen the doctors.
Run the labs.
Followed the protocols.

And yet, something still isn’t resolving.

This container was created for that moment.

Yes, we still work with the physical body.
Physiology matters.
Labs matter when they’re appropriate.
Foundations matter deeply.

But we also look beneath the surface.

At the patterns the body has learned.
The stress it has adapted to.
And the ways it has been carrying what was never meant to be held alone.

In medicine, this relationship has a name: psychoneuroimmunology, the study of how the brain, nervous system, hormones, and immune system are in constant conversation.

When that conversation is shaped by long-term stress, suppression, fear, or misalignment, the body adapts in order to survive.

Over time, those adaptations can become symptoms.
Not as failure, but as communication.

This is not a “fix me” visit.
It is slower work.
More intentional work.
The kind that creates space for real understanding, and from that, real healing.

If your body has been asking you to listen more closely, there may be wisdom in the timing.

You are not broken.
And you are not behind.

I am accepting 10 patients only for this 6-month container, beginning mid-February.

If you feel called, DM AWAKEN or reach out to the office for more details.

The path back home to yourself is not as difficult as you might think. We follow the symptoms, the headaches, the gastrointestinal distress, the anxiety, the depression, the sleeplessness, all of the breadcrumbs the body gives you.

Is it the body?
Is it the ancient future self?
Or is it the Creator himself, offering these signals so that you must pause, pay attention, and look at what is out of alignment?

Symptoms are a gift.
We can treat them with medications, use supportive therapies, test and analyze. All of it is important. None of it is for nothing.

But often, we overlook the gold within each symptom.
They are a map to deeper unrest. And if we follow the messages the body is sending, we open the possibility of coming into our deepest alignment and the best health we’ve ever experienced.

All around me, my patients are waking up.
They want to understand more, know more, and see what it is they may be missing. Is this you? Is it time for more?

Then the Awakening container is for you.
Limited to 10 people.
A six-month container for the deepest healing work you’ve done yet.

This is your invitation.

Comment or DM AWAKEN to learn more about the next step.

01/17/2026

There have been many versions of me.
Some roles I chose consciously.
Some I carried for a season and then put down.
And some…my soul chose so that I could become who I was designed to be.

Like so many women, I became who I needed to be to survive, to belong, to be needed, to be safe. Roles handed to me. Roles I didn’t question. Roles I desired. Roles that made sense at the time.

And then there comes a moment (one we can choose to ignore or listen to) where something inside asks:
Is this really who I am?

And if the answer is no, the next question becomes even more important:

Am I willing to notice that?
And am I brave enough to change it?

This is often the turning point for our mental, emotional, physical, and even cellular health. Because symptoms don’t usually appear out of nowhere.
They arise when something is no longer in alignment, when we’ve been carrying what was never ours, for longer than our body can tolerate.

And I want to say this clearly:
Awakening does not mean burning your life down.

It does not mean destroying what is real, good, or meant for you.
What is true and rooted will always survive this process.

And sometimes the brave choice is much quieter.
It looks like telling the truth… first to yourself.
Allowing yourself to have needs.
Changing how you relate.
Letting go of identities you’ve outgrown.
Putting down roles you picked up without realizing they were never yours.

Re-evaluation is not failure.
It is wisdom.

You don’t need to be afraid of this moment.
There is a path for your life, even if you can’t see it clearly yet.
And what is real cannot be broken. What falls away was never meant to be carried forever.

This new work I’m stepping into has been birthed from my heart, from my own journey, and from years of witnessing women arrive at this exact crossroads.

I’ll be sharing more about the new program next week.

For now, I’ll ask you this:
How is your body speaking to you?
What symptoms are asking for your attention?
Where do you already know that something needs to be looked at more deeply?

You’re allowed to listen.
You’re allowed to look.
