Hey there, Hornets! Chef Dulcie here!
I have enjoyed every minute of my time here with you and I feel as though we have accomplished some pretty amazing things as well! I have been blessed to get to know you and your kiddos, and I will take those memories with me always as cherished moments as I move forward into my next adventure...
As I say thank you for eight amazing years here in Beech Grove, I would also like to take a moment to welcome your new Chartwells Director, Chef Clara Lopez!
Chef Clara holds a BA degree in Culinary Management. Her passion for Culinary Arts and world cuisine was ignited while she was doing a certificate in Cuisine & Culture from the Institute Paul Bocuse in Lyon, France. Clara has been working in the food service industry for the past 15 years, with 8 of those years as k12 Director of Food Service. She has 2 kids and her favorite things to do are traveling, spending time baking breads, and pastries.
You will begin to see Chef Clara around the halls of your school next week. Please stop and say hello!
We expect great things from you, Chef Clara!

A huge shout out to FFA members VP Gary Woods, Lanie Ping, and Clara Gimlich for all of their hard work and dedication to sharing the art of gardening with younger Hornets! Thank you, Clinton Bullock and the whole FFA crew, for their help today and throughout the summer. They'll be assisting in maintaining the garden. Extra special thanks to Gary, who planted all the seeds so we could get a jump start on the summer growing season! Today would have been much less vibrant and and far less tactile without you!

Such a fun day at BGHS!!
The Circle City Ghostbusters came to see the BGHS Ghostbusters!
They talked about what their organization does, how to become part of their team, and walked everyone through all their equipment.
Shoutout to the sponsor, Kerri Woods. It’s easy to tell how much she cares about her students, going above and beyond to set this up and get us involved. We were honored to help.
The food was all Ghostbusters themed as well! So glad we could be part of the fun!
