💗✨ THANK YOU for making our Dolly Parton Day so special! ✨💗

We had an absolutely wonderful day celebrating kindness, community, books, and a whole lot of Dolly sparkle! 🌸📚

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, we successfully collected books that will be donated right back into our local community for others to enjoy. Even better, we were able to help families sign their children up for Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library! 📖💕

And we’re not stopping here! We will continue helping families enroll eligible children so they can receive a FREE book in the mail every month until their 5th birthday. Because putting books into little hands is one pretty wonderful way to make a difference. ❤️

Thank you to every person who donated a book, stopped in, dressed in pink, laughed with us, supported the event, or simply let us add a little extra sparkle to your day. Belfast Drug is incredibly lucky to be part of this community.

And finally, after spending the day channeling Dolly, we have learned one very important lesson:

👱‍♀️ We now have an EXTREME appreciation for the amount of work it must have taken Dolly Parton to wear those wigs! 😂💗

We may be putting ours away…but we hope to keep the kindness, generosity, fun, and sparkle going all year long.

💕🎶 Workin’ 9 to 5… well, 8 to 7 because this is pharmacy. 😂💊

This Wednesday, Belfast Drug is going PINK and bringing a little Dollywood spirit to the pharmacy! 💗👢✨

Our staff will be dressing up, getting creative, and doing our best to channel the Spirit of Dolly — big hair is optional, but kindness is required. 😉

And because Dolly’s legacy is about so much more than rhinestones, we’re celebrating something she has championed for decades: putting books into the hands of children. 📚

📚 Bring us your new or gently loved books, and we’ll give them right back to our community FREE so another family can love them.

👢 Our staff will compete for the Spirit of Dolly, and YOU get to vote for the winner!

📖 At 3 PM, we’ll slow things down for story time with a staff reading from a treasured Shel Silverstein book that has already made its way through two generations. Because sometimes the best books don’t need to be new — they just need another person to love them. ❤️

So stop in Wednesday, cast your vote, bring a book if you have one to share, and enjoy a little extra pink, laughter, and kindness with us.

We may not actually work 9 to 5…

…but we can certainly make 8 to 7 a little more Dolly. 💕😂👢

Have you ever had a question about a medication but weren’t sure if it was worth asking? Wondered which over-the-counter product to choose? Or wanted to know if something in your medicine cabinet is actually helping?

I’m excited to introduce a new series here on the Belfast Drug Company page: From Your Pharmacist.

I’m your friendly👋 Pharmacy Manager Elise Kaserman, Pharm.D., MBA, and from time to time I’ll be sharing practical information based on questions we hear frequently in the pharmacy. We’ll talk about topics such as:

• Common prescription medications and what you should know about them
• Over-the-counter medicines and how to choose the right product
• Vitamins and supplements
• Medication safety and interactions
• When it may be worth talking with your doctor about changing or stopping a medication
• Everyday questions you may not have thought to ask your pharmacist

My goal is simple: to provide clear, useful information that helps you better understand your medications and make informed decisions about your health.

🎉 Celebrating our Med Sync success at Belfast Drug! 💊❤️

Our team has been working hard to make medication management easier and more convenient for our patients through medication synchronization (Med Sync), and we took some time to celebrate our success together!

🦞 Some of our team enjoyed a delicious lobster outing at Young’s Lobster Pound Sunday, while ⚾ team members also spent Saturday enjoying a baseball game. Great food, great fun, and even better company!

We’re incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished with Med Sync and, most importantly, what it means for our patients. By coordinating eligible prescriptions to be ready around the same time, Med Sync can mean fewer trips to the pharmacy and a simpler routine for managing medications.
