Seva Medical Announces Self-Scheduled Tele-Med Visits for acute needs!

Seva Medical is excited to announce that current patients/homes or communities can now self-schedule Telemed appointments directly through our website.

Available For:
*Current Seva Medical patients needing an acute Tele-Med visit

*New patients whose enrollment has already been confirmed by Seva Medical

How to Schedule:
Visit: https://www.sevamedical.org/telemedicine
1.Click Schedule Tele-Med.
2.Enter the requested patient information.
3.Confirm the patient's address and cell phone number where you would like the Tele-Med link sent.
4.Select a provider.
Click on the calendar to view available appointment dates and times.
5.Select your preferred appointment time.

If your preferred provider is full or does not have a time that works for you, simply return to the provider selection screen and choose another Seva Medical provider.

Appointment Confirmation
Once your appointment is scheduled, you will receive a text message confirming:
*Appointment date
*Appointment time
*Tele-Med appointment link

This new option provides faster access to care and greater scheduling flexibility for our patients.

Dear Community Partners,

Due to ongoing economic changes and rising fuel and operational costs, Seva Medical will be implementing a policy adjustment effective September 1, 2026.

We have worked hard to avoid this change, but we can no longer sustainably support low-volume locations with routine in-person visits. We are providing advance notice to allow time to identify additional residents who may benefit from Seva services.

Seva accepts most insurance plans, and we encourage discussions with families regarding home-based primary care options.

Adult Family Homes and communities with 2 or fewer active Seva patients will need to increase participation to at least 3 residents to continue routine in-person provider visits.

Locations that do not reach 3 active Seva residents will transition to Telemed visits every 4–6 weeks.

Routine in-person provider visits can resume once the home or community reaches 3 active Seva residents.
