This week’s From Balance recommendation 🍊🍊🍊

Mattering by explores one of our most fundamental human needs: feeling valued and knowing that we matter. Drawing on research and personal stories, the book offers an insightful perspective on the connection between purpose, belonging, well-being, and the role these play in living a meaningful life.

This book will resonate with you if
you are curious about the deeper drivers of well-being, long for meaningful connection, or want to better understand what creates a stronger sense of purpose and belonging.

Regret is something most of us are familiar with—yet rarely something we choose to sit with for long.

In this week’s reflection, I explore what can become possible when we begin to meet regret with a little more curiosity. Not as something to fix or push away, but as a quiet signal pointing us toward deeper self-connection and growth.

Perhaps the question is not what we regret—but what our regrets are trying to show us.

Instead of New Year’s resolutions, I choose a word to guide my attention through the year.

An anchor.
A reminder.
A compass.

My word for 2026 is INTUITION — the quiet knowing beneath the thinking and the doing.

Looking forward to exploring this fascinating human skill more deeply and sharing what unfolds along the way.

What’s your word for the year? đŸ‘ïžđŸ’Ą

Where Gratitude Leads, Clarity Follows

This month’s blog explores how gratitude can guide us quietly toward clarity. Not simply as something we express, but as something that reveals what matters: the small moments that steady us, the experiences that bring us home to ourselves, and the subtle signals that help us understand who we are becoming.

If you’d like to step into the season with a softer focus and a clearer sense of what feels true for you, I invite you to read the full post: https://mailchi.mp/db936532abec/wheregratitudeleads

The Art of Letting Go 🍃🍁🍂 - https://mailchi.mp/33fe503cd878/theartoflettinggo

It’s been a season of quiet observation — of noticing how life rearranges itself when we allow it to. Here in Seattle, the air has turned crisp and the light a little softer — that unmistakable moment when nature begins to exhale.

Meet my new office companion
 OzzyđŸŸ

At the start of the year, Ozzy, a rescue pup with a past that has left its mark, became part of our family. Every day, as he curls up beside me in my office, he carries a quiet yet profound reminder: Healing isn’t linear. Trust takes time. Moving forward isn’t about erasing the past but learning to live with it.

As I watch him slowly shed his old fears, Ozzy shows me how real change happens when patience meets presence. That trust - whether in ourselves or others - is built step by step. And that healing isn’t about forgetting but about having the courage to move forward.

Because while the past may shape us, it does not have to define us.
