I have the incredible honor of working on a military-themed sleeve for a veteran whose story is one of courage, sacrifice, and resilience.

As part of this sleeve, I was entrusted with tattooing over a scar left behind by a bullet wound—a scar that tells a story most of us can only imagine. Every line and every detail carried a deeper meaning, serving as a reminder of the strength it takes to endure, heal, and continue moving forward.

As tattoo artists, we often get the privilege of creating beautiful artwork, but sometimes we are trusted with something even greater: helping transform a painful reminder into a piece that reflects pride, honor, and personal history.

Thank you for your service, your sacrifice, and for allowing me to be a small part of your journey. It was truly a humbling experience and one I won’t soon forget.

As some of you may already know, I have decided to return to school to pursue my certification as a Substance & Alcohol Abuse Counselor. This is something I am incredibly passionate about, and I’m excited to eventually incorporate these services into the Belladonna family as another way to support our community.

Beginning June 16th, I will not be available for tattoo appointments on Tuesday and Thursday mornings while attending classes. However, I will be extending my availability later in the day on those days and will do my best to accommodate appointment requests whenever possible.

Appointments can be scheduled through my booking link, or you can always message the shop directly and we’ll be happy to help.

Sometimes clients come in knowing exactly what they want.

Sometimes they come in carrying a story they can’t quite put into words.

This piece was created for an amazing woman who had endured more than most people ever see. She didn’t arrive with a specific design—she came with her journey. Together, we transformed that story into something she could carry with her forever.

The kintsugi heart represents healing and finding beauty in the places life has cracked.

The flowers symbolize growth, renewal, and blooming after hardship.

The stars represent her children—the reason she kept going through some of her darkest moments. They were her light, her strength, and the reminder that she couldn’t give up.

The jewel symbolizes her inner worth, resilience, and the beauty she carries within.

And the heart itself is a reminder that love remains strong, even after everything life puts us through.

This is why I love what I do. Tattoos can be so much more than artwork. They become reminders of survival, healing, and the people who helped carry us through our hardest seasons.
