Hands to Heaven,
This was a topic at church in March. This has been ruminating in the back of my mind for a while. Then I was prompted to write about it.

Take a good look at your hands, both sides.
What have those hands done for you over your lifetime? If your hands could talk, what story would they tell? What did you do for your life's work? It took me a while to really appreciate myself and my hands. That is why I retired from manufacturing window treatments and such. I wanted them to last me the rest of my life.

Appreciate your hands and what they have done for you.

I have worn many hats and been many things to many people.
I have had many careers.
In high school, I designed and created a complete set of color guard uniforms for the winter guard. 18+ uniforms. Drum Corp
I have taken care of the elderly for 2 years every weekend.
I have worked at a dry cleaners, doing mostly shirts. wash and press, bag or box. wash and fold laundry.
I have worked at the local convenience store.
I went to college and got a degree in interior design and decoration. spent lots of time drafting and carrying a large portfolio every day for two years.
I worked at a high-end ladies' specialty store dressing professional women. I was the ladies' manager. Loved dressing women really enjoyed that job.
I am a mother of two boys whom I raised.
I was a General manager of a pizza shop for 5 yrs. pounding tons of pizzas and managing a crew.
I worked at a home building store, learning about flooring and giving demos on Saturdays and teaching others about do-it-yourself flooring, and helping customers to pick out flooring and blinds.
I owned and operated and sewed for 27 yrs at a custom window treatments business.
I am a Reiki Master and have a holistic healing business, which I truly love doing. Thank you, God for what these hands know and feel when I work on my clients.
I also helped convert my old workspace into an apartment for rent.
I also helped build two houses during COVID, which are now rentals for our retirement/future.
I am grateful for all that these hands have allowed me to do over the 67 yrs, and what they will help me do in the future.

How do you feel after that?

Do you take enough time for you?
Do you need to spend quiet time in nature or just by yourself.

Let the cares of the world fall by the wayside for a couple of hours and just regroup.

Taking care of you is essential for your mind and soul along with your body needs a break every now and then. When was the last time you took a time out?
Stillness allows your senses to expand. All will be well if you take a break. The world will not crumble I promise you that. You will heal better when you are rested and calm.

Specularite, or specular hematite, is a gray-to-black metallic variety of hematite featuring sparkling, mirror-like flakes.
Primarily composed of iron oxide it often includes mica, creating a glittery, silvery, or rainbow sheen. This stone is used for grounding, protection, and mental clarity, Specularite is sold in polished, or lacquered form.

Healing Properties- Known as a strong grounding stone that connects the root and crown chakras, bringing higher vibrations into the physical plane.
Mental Clarity: Used to calm mental stress, improve focus, and aid in rational decision-making.
Protection: Acts as a shield against negative energy.

It carries such a high vibration that it affects the aura of anyone in its presence. I have gotten a ton. of compliments when I wear this piece I did not wear it one day and felt naked.
The healing properties of this particular kyanite are known for clearing negative energy, strengthening the aura, and acting as a protective talisman.
