UNHAPPY BONES

A recent medical shown examined common risk factors for osteoporosis. These included having a very small frame, smoking, alcohol use, and inadequate hydration. All familiar warnings. But researchers identified another factor that often goes overlooked.

Depression itself increases the risk. Studies show that depression triggers inflammatory chemicals in the body that contribute to bone loss. In simple terms, a downcast spirit does not stay confined to the mind. It leaves physical marks, even weakening the bones.

That insight is not new. Nearly 3,000 years ago, King Solomon recorded the same truth:
“A merry heart doeth good like a medicine, but a broken spirit drieth the bones.” Proverbs 17:22

Where Scripture speaks to the natural world, it speaks truthfully. The Bible is not guessing at reality. It reveals it. Joy is not just emotional relief. It is good medicine, even for your bones.

YOUR BODY USES ELECTRICITY TO HEAL WOUNDS

When your skin is cut, healing does not begin with blood alone. The moment the surface breaks, your body generates a tiny electric field across the wound. This electrical signal acts like a directional beacon, telling cells exactly where to move, when to move, and how to rebuild the damaged tissue. The process starts immediately, without learning, without practice, and without conscious control.
