📣 Community Crisis Information Briefing – Open to the Public

The community is invited to attend an important informational briefing regarding recent events affecting our area.

📍 Location: Municipal Building, 119 N Hersey St, Beloit

This event is being held to provide information, support, and available resources for community members who may be impacted.

This briefing is sponsored by the 10-33 Foundation and is open to all members of the public. We strongly encourage anyone affected, or seeking information, to attend.

This year, we celebrate 20 years of protection, prevention, and progress with the HPV vaccine. 🌟

Originally approved to prevent cervical cancer, the HPV vaccine is now known to protect against six HPV-related cancers, including cancers of the head and neck. ✅

The Health Department will be closed 11-1:30 to help serve at Kids Cafe.

Last week was so much fun, but this week will be even better!! Reminders: activities begin at 11:30 unless noted on the schedule. Lunch is served from 12:00-12:30, and we wrap up about 1:00!

A few strong to severe storms will be possible again this afternoon for areas mainly south and east of the Tri-cities. Storms will begin to develop between 3-6PM with the final storms clearing out of the area around 9PM. The strongest of storms may carry large hail up to the size of golf balls, wind gusts up to near 60 MPH or even an isolated tornado.
