We are happy to welcome Dr Joseph Tan to The Eye MDs!! Dr Tan will begin seeing patients on December 14th, 2026.
Dr. Joseph Tan received his MD from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He completed an Internal Medicine internship at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia and Ophthalmology residencies at Loma Linda University in Loma Linda, California and at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.
Dr. Tan is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with 12 years of experience in complex and refractive cataract surgery, glaucoma, corneal and anterior segment disease, ocular surface disease, medical retina and oculoplastics. His special interests include laser-assisted cataract surgery, advanced technology implants, glaucoma (including Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgeries or MIGS), and functional oculoplastic surgery.
