Raise your hand if you’ve been cleansing once and calling it a night. 🧐

Here’s what no one told you: if you wear SPF, makeup, or even just live outside in Texas heat, one cleanse is not
enough. Your skin deserves two rounds.
Round 1 (your pre-cleanse): lifts surface-level buildup- SPF, oil, makeup, pollution
Round 2 (your actual cleanse): gets deeper, clears the pore, preps skin to absorb your serums and moisturizer

Skip the second step and you’re essentially moisturizing on top of a dirty surface. Your products can’t work the way they’re supposed to.
I use the Circadia oil cleanser followed by the Circadia lipid or nourish cleanser on my own skin. The combo is gentle enough for daily use and my skin has never felt more balanced.
If your skin feels tight, stripped, or reactive after washing- it’s worth looking at your cleanser first. I promise it’s not always about adding more products.

Still grabbing the same cleanser you’ve used for years because it’s familiar? Let’s talk about that. ⬇️

GEL CLEANSER:
→ Emulsifies and gets deeper into the pore
→ Ideal for oily, combination, or acne-prone skin
→ Removes excess oil without leaving a residue

CREAM CLEANSER:
→ Gentle, hydrating, doesn’t strip the skin
→ Best for dry, sensitive, or rosacea-prone skin (hi, that’s me)
→ Cleanses without disrupting your moisture barrier

Neither is better than the other- but one is better for YOU. Using the wrong formula for your skin type can cause dryness, breakouts, or irritation and most people don’t even connect it back to their cleanser.
That’s why I always ask what you’re using at home before we start. The answer tells me a lot!

Four years ago today, I had my very first client in my newly opened esthetics suite.

I had no idea what the future would look like. I just knew I wanted to create a space where people could come in, feel cared for, and leave feeling a little more confident than when they walked in.

The last four years have stretched me, humbled me, challenged me, and blessed me in ways I never could have imagined. There have been incredible highs, moments of doubt, and plenty of days where I wondered if I was doing enough. But every client who trusts me with their skin, their confidence, and their time reminds me why I started.

To every person who has booked an appointment, referred a friend, liked a post, or cheered me on… THANK YOU! You’ve helped build more than a business. You’ve helped build a dream.
