Hello friends,
The Summer Solstice arrived this weekend, and while I'm definitely feeling tired after the past week, I'm also feeling incredibly full—in all the best ways.
Last Monday brought a wonderful report card on my colon health (always nice when your body cooperates and your doctor doesn't have any surprises for you). Then came a very full week of work, including mobile massage appointments, and several massages for family members who gathered to celebrate my parents' 50th wedding anniversary.
There was hiking, laughter, game nights, and plenty of good food. We wrapped it all up with a challenging bike ride, burgers, and time with good friends. And today, Jeff and I celebrate another anniversary of our own.
Both dogs thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone. Several family members recently had to say goodbye to beloved furry companions, and Ellie and Wiggles happily stepped in to provide some much-needed canine therapy.
One unexpected highlight? Nearly everyone at the reunion took a turn on the vibroacoustic mat, and it received a unanimous five-star review. Between the music, vibration, and heat, it quickly became a favorite. If you haven't tried it yet, it will soon become our one and only add-on experience here at Halcyon.

We've also added something new to the menu.
For those who prefer a lighter, slower, deeply relaxing style of massage, you'll now find the Gentle Restorative Massage on our booking site. Cathy specializes in this gentle approach, and she's adding an extra shift this Wednesday with appointments available until 7 pm.

Summer has officially arrived, and I'm reminded that a full life isn't always a calm one. Sometimes it's a little messy, a little exhausting, and absolutely overflowing with the things that matter; like family, friendship, movement, meaningful work, and moments that remind us to slow down and soak it all in.
Wishing you a beautiful start to summer.
Love,
Crystal + the Halcyon Team
