Happy Speech-Language-Hearing Month! 🗣️ 🦻

We asked our SLP, Miss Mara, what her favorite thing about speech therapy is, and her answer is such a great reminder of why we love what we do! Watching kiddos and young adults gain confidence, connect with others, and find new ways to communicate is truly incredible. Every sound, word, gesture, and interaction matters, and we feel so lucky to be part of those moments each day. 👏

Our speech therapists support kiddos and young adults with communication, language, social skills, AAC, articulation, and so much more through play-based, client-led therapy that meets each individual where they are.

We had SO much fun at walk and festival today! The sun was shining ☀️ the bubbles were flying 🫧 and the smiles were beaming! 🤩

We feel so lucky to be apart of such a supportive and encouraging community. Seeing new and old faces really made our day! 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ As always, we can’t wait for the next COAM event!!

Happy OT Month! 🩵

We asked our OTs two simple questions: What’s something you say every single day? And what’s your favorite part about being an OT?

You’ll hear a lot of:

“You’re working so hard!” 👏

Behind every session is encouragement, problem-solving, and meeting each kiddo right where they are!

And our favorite part? 🥹 Watching kiddos build confidence, gain independence, and celebrate the little wins that turn into big progress. Or what we like to say: watching LITTLE hands do BIG things! 🙌

Being an OT means getting to play, connect, and support kiddos in ways that truly matter, and we wouldn’t trade it for anything ✨

Another fun music group day with !! 🤩

We have the best time when Tyler stops by the clinic to jam out to his guitar and learn to play the cool instruments he brings!

We know music all on its own is so fun and entertaining, but do you remember what else music can do for us?

🎵 Social connection: taking turns, sharing instruments, and engaging with peers
🎵 Communication skills: using words, gestures, imitation, and joint attention
🎵 Emotional regulation: rhythm and repetition help calm and organize the nervous system
🎵 Motor development: clapping, dancing, and playing instruments build coordination
🎵 Listening + following directions: songs naturally teach sequencing and attention

Today we celebrate World Down Syndrome Day 💙💛

You might notice people wearing bright, colorful, or even mismatched socks today 🧦🤪 socks were chosen as a symbol to celebrate Down Syndrome as a fun way to start conversations and show support for individuals with Down syndrome.
