Bobbie was actively involved in helping build their new menu, making sure it meets CACFP requirements, is nutritious, and provides food the kids want to eat.

Brandy works with the kids to break down any physical barriers to eating, including improperly chewing, to reduce picky eating.

It’s a joy to be a part of the Head Start team!

When professionals start the day with sugar or caffeine, energy tends to spike fast and drop just as suddenly.

It seems like an affective way to get the ball rolling for the day but leads to
-reduced initiative
-poor attitude
-slower productivity

It shows up late morning or even affects the afternoon.

It can look like a motivation problem, but it's just a low energy pattern happening in real time.

This is why nutrition needs to be prioritized as part of workplace wellness initiatives.

My latest workshop was at Embark Wealth Partners in Godfrey.

With staff scheduling changes, this ended up being an intimate setting for the 3 of us to have a deeper conversation. Something I enjoy about every workshop is that while the content stays the same for me, every 1 is different based on who I’m talking with.

These ladies are already paying attention to what they eat and appreciated looking at food from the different angle of how their food relates to energy and focus dips in the day.
