Ever wondered about the history of cannabis? We sure did and so we began looking into it. Here are some of the fun facts we learned!
In 2900 BC a Chinese emperor by the name of Fu Hsi referenced Cannabis being used as a common medicine.
George Washington is said to have grown h**p on his plantation at Mount Vernon although it’s also believed that the “h**p” he was growing was high in the psychoactive cannabinoid THC.
In 1850, Cannabis was added to the US Pharmacopeia, although it was removed in 1942.
